Welcome to the Algonquin Bats web site.  

The Bats are a 50-and-older baseball team in the Northern Illinois Mens Baseball League (NI-MBL).  The purpose of this site is to provide weekly updates of the 2015 season, as we strive to win baseball games and have fun, while keeping local area orthopedic doctors, chiropractors, and pharmacies in business.  Our 15 players range in ages from 48-69, with an average age of 56 1/2.
